Cookies & analytics
Last updated 8 October 2026
We keep this simple: we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, so you won't see a cookie banner. This page lists everything our website stores on your device and why.
What we store on your device
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| ph_cart_v1 | Local storage | Remembers what's in your basket. Strictly necessary. | Until you empty your basket or clear your browser |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Cookies (set by Stripe) | Set only on the payment step, to prevent card fraud. Strictly necessary. | 1 year / 30 minutes |
| ph_admin | Cookie | Keeps staff signed in to the store admin. Not used for customers. | 7 days |
| plausible_ignore | Local storage | Only if you opt out of analytics below: remembers your choice. | Until you opt back in |
These are all strictly necessary for services you ask for, or record a choice you make, so the law does not require us to ask for consent. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, but the basket and checkout will not work without them.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and see which pages and steps of checkout are used, so we can improve the shop. Plausible does not use cookies or store anything on your device, does not build profiles of you, and does not track you across other websites. It only gives us aggregate totals. Data is processed on Plausible's servers in the EU.
We also respect Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, analytics does not load at all.
